Our mission
Prix Maroc exists for one reason: knowing the real price of something should not depend on who you are, where you come from, or which language you speak.
We collect and publish the prices of everyday products and services in Morocco β food, fuel, electronics, household appliances and more β in French, Arabic and English. For every single price, we say where it came from and when we last checked it.
Why this matters
A price you cannot verify is a price you cannot question. A family planning the month's shopping, a student moving to a new city, a visitor buying their first SIM card β all run into the same problem: there is no single, honest place to look up what something normally costs.
For tourists and people new to Morocco the gap is wider still. Without a reference point, an unfamiliar price is impossible to judge, and that uncertainty is easy to take advantage of. A shared, public reference protects buyers and honest sellers at the same time.
How we work
Every price names its source
We publish the retailer, market or place a price was recorded at, with a link whenever one exists. If there is no link, we still name the source in plain text. No anonymous numbers.
Every price carries a date
Prices move. Each listing shows when it was last checked, and we keep the history of previous prices so you can see how it has changed.
Indicative, never an offer
We do not sell anything. Prices vary between shops, cities and seasons β treat what you see as a reference point, not a quote.
Three languages, one dataset
Every page exists in French, Arabic and English, because the people who need this information do not all read the same language.
Free and open to all
There is no paywall and no account. Our data is also available through an open API, so researchers, journalists and AI assistants can cite it accurately.
A non-profit initiative
We are run on a non-profit basis. We do not sell products, we take no commission on any purchase, and we are not owned by or affiliated with any retailer. Nothing here is sponsored: a product is listed because it is useful to know its price, never because someone paid for it to appear.
What we are not
We are not a regulator, a shop, or an official price authority. We cannot guarantee that a price is still valid at the moment you read it, and we do not arbitrate disputes between buyers and sellers. What we can do is show you a clear reference, tell you exactly where it came from, and let you judge for yourself.
Help us stay accurate
Found a price that is wrong, outdated, or missing? Tell us and we will check it. Corrections from people on the ground are what keep this useful.
